Conference

I suppose it might take longer than one evening to digest the messages from the Conference Center this weekend, but here are some of my first impressions.

• I'm glad so many of the speakers used stories from the Book of Mormon in their talks. It's almost like they knew that all of the youth in the church are studying those stories right now. 
• President Monson used a scripture mastery verse almost every time he was at the pulpit.
• I should have just invited Elder Holland to come and teach about Lehi's dream. When I was a missionary I memorized a talk from Elder Holland, this one needs that same treatment.

I am always amazed how much of conference seems to be specifically for me. I need to take better notes.
